Password Change and Reset


You would use the CHANGE process if you know your current password and want to set a new one.

You would use the RESET process if your password is forgotten or expired by entering responses to questions you established during the Enrollment process.

You need to ENROLL by choosing and answering security questions in order to be able to RESET your password at a later time.

COTC Username / Password

  • What i​s my us​​​er name?​​ 
  • Please click on one of the links below to reset your COT​C password. The password must be at least 8 characters and contain at least 3 of the following categories:
  • Capital letters (A-Z)
  • Lowercase letters (a-z)
  • Numerals (0-9)
  • Special characters (!@#$%^&)

Faculty & Staff​

Your lastname.# username:

Faculty & Staff with a name.# can Change or Reset their password or choose new security questions and answers at To Reset your password click the “Forgot password?” link at the top right of the page.  To Change your password log in with your current password and click Change My Password in the left navigation. To choose new security questions and answers log in and click Security Challenge Responses in the left navigation.
