Newark Campus

Overview

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​The Newark campus is COTC’s first and largest campus in both physical size and enrollment. It is located about 40 miles east of Columbus. The 200-acre campus has 12 buildings, including seven academic buildings and three residence halls.

Some of the amenities include:

  • The John L. and Christine Warner Library that, as part of The Ohio State University library system and the OhioLINK consortium, provides access to millions of books and other library materials.
  • The 10,000 square foot Adena Recreation Center includes a gymnasium and recently renovated fitness facility that is free for students and alumni.​
  • The John and Mary Alford Center for Science and Technology features a multidisciplinary health simulation center. 

​​​​At Central Ohio Technical College you can choose from more than 50 associate degrees and certificates that fit your goals and obtain the high-tech skills and training needed to compete in today’s workforce. Students choose COTC to gain hands-on, applicable experience to begin ​working in the field, or to transfer those credits toward a bachelor’s degree program.
