Your advisor is committed to your personal and academic success and will assist you in achieving your goals.
Campus Corner: Student Food Pantry
With tuition, fees, textbook costs and living expenses, it has become increasingly difficult for students to juggle the costs of living with the costs of obtaining a degree, and thus many students are finding themselves choosing between essentials such as food and the costs of college. The food pantry was established in 2017 to provide non-perishable food to those in need at COTC.
Student Success Center
COTC offers a variety of free services to help ensure student success. Many services are available in person on the Newark Campus in Hopewell Hall as well as the extended campuses. In-person services needed on the extended campuses may need to be requested and/or scheduled. Students can take advantage of FREE services both in-person and online.
Student Records
The Office of Student Records maintains all official student documents and data, including the official academic record for each student. Records staff process incoming transcripts, forms and other various requests related to a student’s academic record. Additionally, records staff manage important processes related to enrollment, from point of application through graduation.
The Office of Student Records is a part of the Gateway Enrollment Center.
Counseling Services
The counselors of Counseling Services provide treatment to all enrolled Central Ohio Technical College students. Services provided include individual therapy, group therapy (on an as needed basis), education/consultation, on-campus referrals, and off-campus referrals within the community. Student Life Disability Services
Student Life Disability Services (SLDS) is a support resource for Central Ohio Technical College students. SLDS provides academic resources and services to reduce disability-related barriers and ensure students access to an equitable learning environment.
