Buy or Rent Textbooks
Textbooks are available to buy — new or used — or rent. COTC supports and encourages purchases through the Barnes & Noble College bookstore as this affords you the best opportunity to purchase used textbooks.
You may purchase your books:
Find Course Materials
In accordance with the Higher Education Opportunity Act, Barnes and Noble booksellers — including our own college bookstore — is fully compliant with textbook provisions, as ISBN numbers and existing retail price information are available on the bookstore website, and students may obtain them before purchase.
- Go to the bookstore website.
- Under Course Materials & Textbooks, select “Find Course Materials.”
- Select your campus from the dropdown menu.
- Select your courses by choosing term, department, course number and section from the drop-down menus.
- Click “Retrieve Materials.”
- A list of course materials is displayed, including the title, edition, publisher, ISBN and pricing, including used and/or digital textbook pricing where available.
You may proceed with the purchase online, or exit from the bookstore site.
Sell Your Textbooks
Barnes and Nobles offers a textbook buy-back program for some of your used books.
