Visit our new veterans lounge in Warner Center 205E. The lounge is open during regular building hours, typically 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Friday during the semester. The space is open to all student veterans, current military and their families, but requires a code. Contact Stephanie Rowland in the Office of Student Life for details.

COTC Veteran Student Stories
Whether military and Veteran students are pursuing a new career, advancing a current career, or simply want to expand upon their education, they have found great success at COTC. Read about some of the experiences our military and student Veterans are pursuing.
Military, Veteran and Dependent Educational Benefits
There are several federal and state of Ohio VA Education Benefits available for COTC students depending on military branch and length of service. The Department of Veteran Affairs determines your GI Bill ® availability after submitting your VA application and provides you with a Certificate of Eligibility for your education benefits. The COTC veteran and military team are here to help you determine the best option available for you based on your current military status, career, and future education goals.
Ohio National Guard Scholarship and Military Tuition Assistance (TA)
ONGSP will pay the base tuition only (general and instructional fees) for Ohio state-assisted colleges and universities. Any additional fees such as lab, course or assessment fees are student responsibility. For approved private or proprietary degree-granting institutions of higher education, the program will pay 100% of the average tuition charges of state universities. ONGSP is not available for courses not applicable to or leading to an Associate or the member’s first Baccalaureate degree with the exception of diploma-granting nursing programs.
Financial Aid
We encourage students to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be considered for grants, scholarships and loans.
Financial Aid can be used in addition to other Military/student Veteran educational benefits.
