College Credit Plus

Get an early start on college.

Overview

College Credit Plus (CCP) is the dual-enrollment program in Ohio that provides students in grades 7-12 the opportunity to earn college and high school credits at the same time by taking courses at Central Ohio Technical College (COTC). This program enhances students’ career readiness and postsecondary success, while providing a wide variety of options to college-ready students, at no cost to students and families.

Students may participate in CCP at COTC in three different ways:

  • COTC college courses are taught by high school teachers at the high school.
  • COTC college courses are taught by COTC faculty at the high school.
  • COTC college courses are taught by COTC faculty at any of COTC’s four campuses and/or online.

Download our CCP Student Guide to learn more about steps to enroll and pathways students can pursue to get an early start on college.

Benefits of CCP at COTC

  • Save money on future college tuition cost.
  • Get an early start on college, or even complete a certificate and/or an associate degree.
  • Qualify for the COTC CCP scholarship to receive half off your tuition after high school graduation.
  • Get a more personalized college experience in small classes and through hands-on learning at COTC.

With how much I’ve gotten ahead and achieved through this CCP program, it’s definitely going to help my career trajectory… I really feel like it has made me the person I am today. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
