College Credit Plus Scholarship

Receive $1,500 per semester after high school graduation.

Whether you want to get into a career quickly or complete the first two years of your bachelor’s degree, COTC’s College Credit Plus (CCP) Scholarship can save you thousands on your college education.

Eligibility

You are eligible for a CCP Scholarship if you meet all of the following requirements upon high school graduation:

  • Complete a minimum of 12 credit hours of CCP at COTC.
  • Earn a minimum 2.5 GPA.
  • Do not earn an associate degree.*
  • Enroll at COTC in the autumn or spring semester immediately after high school graduation.

*Students who complete their first associate degree through the CCP program while still in high school are not eligible for the CCP Scholarship.

Amount

  • You must be enrolled in six or more credit hours per semester to receive this scholarship. The maximum award is $1,500, and students taking less than 12 credits will receive a reduced (prorated) amount.
  • You can be awarded $1,500 for two semesters each academic year for a total annual award of $3,000.

Instructions

Your scholarship award is automatic — there’s no separate CCP Scholarship application. Follow these instructions to receive the CCP scholarship:

  • File the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) annually and submit any additional documentation requested for the financial aid process.
  • Submit the free COTC application for admission.
  • Complete the steps to enroll.
  • Take classes the autumn or spring semester immediately after your high school graduation
