Academic Support Services

Overview

COTC offers students many free academic support services. These academic support services are available to help students be successful academically, so they can achieve their educational goals.  Services include things like academic advising, tutoring, note-taking, and study skills. When students are ready to graduate, they work with the Office of Student Records to ensure they have met all graduation requirements.

Student Success Center

COTC offers a variety of free services to help ensure student success. Many services are available in person on the Newark Campus in Hopewell Hall as well as the extended campuses. In-person services needed on the extended campuses may need to be requested and/or scheduled. Students can take advantage of FREE services both in-person and online. Currently, in order to keep our campus safe, students are encouraged to connect with our offices virtually.

Overview

Student Records

The Office of Student Records maintains all official student documents and data, including the official academic record for each student. Records staff process incoming transcripts, forms, and other various requests related to a student’s academic record.  Additionally records staff manage important processes related to enrollment, from point of application through graduation.  The Office of Student Records is a part of the Gateway Enrollment Center.
