Central Ohio Technical College is a proud partner in the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) General Education Mobile (GEM) program. As part of the GEM program, COTC offers general education courses to active duty airmen and guardians who are pursuing their associate degree through the CCAF.

Get Started at COTC

Apply

Apply to COTC as a visiting student by completing the free application for general admission.

Applications are due one week before the start of the semester in which you plan to enroll. COTC has three semesters per year: summer semester (12 weeks), autumn semester (16 weeks) and spring semester (16 weeks). See the academic calendar for start dates and important deadlines.

Student Resources

COTC offers free academic and personal support resources to all students. 

Academic Advising: Your advisor provides guidance on developing meaningful academic and career goals, understanding degree requirements and navigating your college experience.

Tutoring Services: Tutoring is available both face-to-face and online in a variety of subjects. 

Student Success Coaches: Every student is assigned a student success coach. Coaches work with you individually to develop healthy student-centered habits, and they also help you get back on track when you need academic assistance. 

Veteran and Military-Connected Students: COTC’s dedicated veteran and military resource staff assists you with admissions, using your military education benefits, and accessing internal and external resources to help you succeed.
