The criminal justice technology degree at COTC prepares students
for a rewarding career in criminal justice. Those who enroll in
the program can expect to learn about the three facets of the
justice system: law enforcement, corrections and
courts.
The Emergency Medical Technician
(EMT) Certificate is eligible for a short-term
certificate grant available to students with demonstrated
financial need as well as students who are currently in or
exiting foster care.
Technical rescue is a highly specialized “high risk/low
frequency” area of fire department operations that requires a
disproportionate amount of training and education when compared
to “low risk / high frequency” operations in Fire and Emergency
Services (FES).
The law enforcement technology program at Central Ohio Technical
College’s Institute for Public Safety offers a two-year Associate
of Applied Science in Law Enforcement Technology.
Central Ohio Technical College’s Institute for Public Safety
offers peace officer basic training designed to prepare students
to meet the requirements of the Ohio Peace Officer Training
Commission.
