COTC staff graduate Ohio Leadership Academy for Student Success

Graduates of the Ohio Leadership Academy for Student Success gather.

Graduating as fellows are John Davenport, PhD, dean of students, and Kendrah Cunningham, PhD, nursing program administrator. The academy, sponsored by the Ohio Association of Community Colleges (OACC), annually gathers midlevel faculty and staff for a year of training, exchanging ideas and immersion in how to promote student success.

Central Ohio Technical College (COTC) is excited to announce the launch of our new Associate of Arts in Education concentration this autumn semester, making it the college’s eighth Associate of Arts pathway. Two Faculty Retire, Rewarded Faculty Emeritus Status

Professor Scott E. Wilson worked at COTC for 44 years, teaching both English and communication courses during that time. Professor Sandra Siegrist, a mathematics faculty member, has been with the college for 38 years, for a combined 82 years of service.

COTC to offer more than $1.2 million in new scholarships for healthcare students

Central Ohio Technical College (COTC) was recently awarded $612,039.96 in Choose Ohio First (COF) funding from the Ohio Department of Higher Education. The funding will be used to provide scholarships to students in the college’s nursing and allied healthcare programs over the next five years. Moreover, COTC will match the COF award by offering an additional $612,040 in scholarships from institutional and donor funds.
