Faculty, Staff Receive Excellence Awards
Faculty and staff members from Central Ohio Technical College (COTC) were among those recognized by the League for Innovation in the Community College with the 2025-2026 Excellence Awards. The League’s Excellence Awards recognize outstanding faculty, staff and leaders at board and alliance member colleges who have made a significant difference in the lives of students and in the communities their colleges serve. This year’s recipients are:
- Kyle Fulton, associate dean, engineering and computer information technology
- Ralph Giles, program director, computer information technology
- Michael Leedale, administrative assistant, facilities
- Charlene Ross, academic advisor and veteran and military resources coordinator, Gateway
- René White, web management specialist, marketing and public relations
The League for Innovation in the Community College is an international nonprofit organization with a mission to cultivate innovation in the community college environment. Founded in 1968 by B. Lamar Johnson and a dozen U.S. community and technical college presidents, the League has proudly served community college institutions for over 50 years.
COTC is a fully accredited, public college dedicated to providing high-quality, accessible programs of technical education in response to current and emerging employment needs. COTC has four campus locations: Newark, Coshocton, Knox and Pataskala.
