Manufacturing engineering technicians operate metal-removing equipment such as lathes, drill presses, milling machines and grinders, many of which are computer numerically controlled (CNC). Manufacturing technicians may specialize in operating one type of machine or they may be required to work equally well on several. They may work in small machining shops or in manufacturing industries, such as machinery or transportation equipment manufacturing.
First-Time College Students
Who is considered a first-time college student?
Students who have never attended a college or university are considered first-time college students.
Additionally, students who complete college classes while in middle/high school (through College Credit Plus) are also considered first-time college students after high school graduation.
