Using Concourse Syllabus Management in Canvas

Join us for an engaging workshop on Concourse Syllabus, an innovative syllabus management tool designed to streamline and enhance the syllabus creation and management process. This workshop offers faculty members an opportunity to delve into the features and functionalities of Concourse Syllabus, empowering them to efficiently update and manage their syllabi. Participants will explore the platform’s user-friendly interface, learn best practices for syllabus organization, and discover how to integrate course objectives, policies, and resources effectively. Whether you’re a seasoned user or new to Concourse Syllabus, this workshop promises valuable insights and practical skills to elevate your syllabus management experience, ensuring clarity and consistency in communicating course expectations to students. All COTC faculty are required to use Concourse Syllabus for each course being taught.

Workshop
Join us for a workshop on the Faculty Self-service application. This workshop offers faculty the opportunity to learn about the roster verification, attendance tracking, and final grade submission tools that are integrated in the Faculty Self-service menu. All faculty are required to use the Faculty-self Service application for roster verification, attendance tracking, and final grades. Moving to OERs and Affordable Course Materials: From Idea to Implementation
Workshop
Shifting from traditional textbooks to open textbooks can feel like a daunting project, but taking it step-by-step can help. In this workshop, participants will learn how to find open textbooks and other affordable materials, evaluate them against their current course materials, and discuss how to map out a timeline for moving from traditional to open/affordable options. A brief overview of the Course Content Review grant will be provided for full-time faculty who are interested in moving their courses to open or affordable materials.
