New RN to BSN Program Launched

This National Nurses Week, Central Ohio Technical College (COTC) is excited to announce the upcoming launch of our new Registered Nurse (RN) to Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program this autumn semester beginning Aug. 26.

Articulation Agreements

Many four-year colleges and universities will transfer most if not all COTC credit coursework into an established program at the four-year institution.  An articulation agreement between COTC and a four-year institution is a guarantee to the COTC student that specific coursework taken at COTC will enable that student to be granted transfer credit into a particular program at the four-year institution.

One-Year Certificate

Students who choose to study office administration within the business program at COTC gain knowledge and skills to prepare them for employment in an office setting. Office administrators focus on technical processes and perform clerical skills that help a business or organization manage day-to-day operations. 

License/Credentialing

The Office Administration Certificate aligns with the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) – Certified Administrative Professional Certificate.

Job Readiness

Students who pursue the Fire with Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Certificate gain entry-level skills in both firefighting and emergency medical services. Many fire stations seek students with skills in both firefighting and emergency medical services. Students can complete this certificate and enter the workforce, but are also encouraged to continue their training and education to complete the Associate Applied Science in Fire Science Technology (Link to the degree page> for advancement in a firefighting career.

Types of Financial Aid

Financial aid consists of grants and scholarships (which do not need repaid and are gifted financial assistance) and student loans (which do need to be repaid). Students can also be eligible for Federal Work Study to help pay education expenses through part-time employment on campus.
