Jessica McKeehan
mckeehan.14@mail.cotc.edu
Jessica (she/her) is a first-year AmeriCorps member and a second-year student at Central Ohio Technical College, earning her associate degree in digital media design technology with a concentration in graphic design. After graduation, she plans to go forward and earn a bachelor’s degree but is currently exploring different majors that may interest her. Over the past 15 years, Jessica has occasionally volunteered at the Station Break Senior Citizens Center in Mount Vernon, assisting in their kitchen and on-site meals. In her spare time, she continues to practice different art forms ranging from drawing to photography, plays video games, reads and writes.
Jessica was one of 15 COTC students chosen in the 2023 Italian Immersion program, allowing her to spend two weeks of her summer in Italy, staying with a host family and experiencing all that the country had to offer. Due to her time there, she has a strong desire to travel abroad more, experience other cultures, and is considering dual bachelor’s degrees in international studies and history as well as learning the Italian language.
