Central Ohio Technical College (COTC) strives to pursue excellence in teaching. As part of that effort, the Provost’s Office at COTC has initiated a new program to value faculty innovation and teaching with a lens on equity, success, and completion.

Digital Media Design Technology
Thirteen years after starting a degree at a different college, Central Ohio Technical College (COTC) student Jacob Ward is pursuing an Associate of Applied Science in Digital Media Design Technology to redefine his career.
“I like the idea of creating and bringing something to life for someone,” he said. “I’d love to work with a sports team to help develop their website or help design their merchandise.”
Ward began working on his degree in spring 2021 with the full support of his wife and three kids.

Registration Open for Blue Line Twilight Run 5K/10K at COTC
Supports Fallen Officer and Sheriff's Backpack Funds
Registration is now open for the second annual Blue Line Twilight Run 5K and 10K, which will be held in person on Saturday, May 1, 7 p.m., at Rotary Park, adjacent to the Central Ohio Technical College (COTC) Newark campus. The event will kick-off at 6 p.m. with a free half-mile Kids Fun Run for youth 10 and younger. Online registration is available at go.cotc.edu/bluelinerun through Wednesday, April 28.
Dual-enrollment Led Engineering Technology Student Sydney Palur to Early Start in Dream Career
NEWARK, Ohio, August 26, 2021 – From being a dual-enrollment student at C-TEC and Central Ohio Technical College (COTC) to being an employee at Salas O’Brien in Granville, Ohio, an Army reservist and COTC engineering technology student, Sydney Palur is doing what she loves thanks to COTC.
