Central Ohio Technical College (COTC) has released the President’s Honors List and the Honors List for summer semester 2025 to recognize students who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement.
New Program to Dress Students For Success
Central Ohio Technical College (COTC) and The Ohio State University at Newark have collaborated with Licking/Knox Goodwill Industries on a creative program that provides professional clothing to job-seeking students. As a part of the partnership, Goodwill supplies vouchers that COTC and Ohio State Newark students can use to purchase attire for job interviews, career fairs, academic conferences and internships.
2025 Greenstein Award recipients
The Greenstein Award is given annually to a staff member, faculty member or administrator of COTC and/or Ohio State Newark. Its recipients are honored for their efforts, attitude, deeds and behaviors toward perpetuating a genuine spirit of mutual respect and cooperation between the two institutions.

Universal Changing Table Available at Newark Campus
The Ohio State University at Newark and Central Ohio Technical College (COTC) have partnered with the Licking County Board of Developmental Disabilities (LCBDD) and is pleased to announce that a universal changing table is now available to students, staff and members of the public at the shared Newark campus in the Hopewell Hall restroom, room 93T.
Food Vendors Wanted for Concert, Fireworks at Newark Campus
Central Ohio Technical College (COTC) and The Ohio State University at Newark, with support from the J. Gilbert Reese Family Foundation, celebrate Independence Day with a concert and fireworks on July 3 at the shared Newark campus. The institutions are seeking food vendors to serve spectators at the event, which is expected to draw more than 20,000 people.

Vorley Taylor Recognized for Years of Dedication to COTC and Ohio State Newark
After 28 years of dedicated service, Vorley Taylor retired from Central Ohio Technical College (COTC) and The Ohio State University at Newark at the end of 2024. Taylor spent the past 22 years in the Office of Student Life, most recently as program manager of multicultural affairs.
