The IT Specialist short-term certificate is primarily offered face-to-face.

The IT Specialist one-year certificate is primarily offered face-to-face, although the general education courses can be completed online.  

The IT Specialist short-term certificate takes two semesters to complete at part-time enrollment.

The IT Specialist one-year certificate takes four semesters to complete at part-time enrollment.

COTC awards $1 million in scholarships to students each year.

Every student is encouraged to complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be considered for grants, scholarships and loans.

Students who complete a FAFSA are automatically considered for some scholarships. Other scholarships require an application.

20th Anniversary Black Heritage Gala

The Black Heritage Gala is led by students from Ohio State Newark and COTC and sponsored by Multicultural Affairs and the Black Student Association. The event includes dinner, student speakers, food, music, singing, poetry and more.

Location: Warner Center Performance Platform

This leadership retreat focuses on development theories while understanding inclusive concepts. Students will participate in an action planning session focusing on respect. 

Program is limited to 20 students. Registration required.

Food Vendors Wanted for Concert, Fireworks at Newark Campus

Central Ohio Technical College (COTC) and The Ohio State University at Newark, with support from the J. Gilbert Reese Family Foundation, celebrate Independence Day with a concert and fireworks on July 3 at the shared Newark campus. The institutions are seeking food vendors to serve spectators at the event, which is expected to draw more than 20,000 people.

Nursing professor and a student stand around the Anatomage Table, a virtual dissection table used in classroom simulations.

Learn about educational and career pathways in healthcare. This event is free and open to all individuals interested in healthcare careers. High school students, college students and current healthcare professionals are encouraged to attend.
