Teaching and Learning Center Now Open

Central Ohio Technical College (COTC) is proud to announce the grand opening of its new Teaching and Learning Center, a state-of-the-art facility designed to provide a hub for professional development opportunities for faculty, staff and students.

The center’s dedication to faculty professional development is highlighted by its modern space equipped with the latest technology, as well as its dedicated areas for workshops, training sessions and professional development opportunities. These resources will help faculty stay up to date with the latest teaching methods and technologies and ensure that COTC students are receiving the highest quality education.

The Teaching and Learning Center also features a state-of-the-art multimedia studio that will allow faculty, staff, students and community partners to record both audio and video. This soundproof space features studio lighting, smart cameras, microphones and a variety of backgrounds for various styles of presentation.

“The Teaching and Learning Center is a major investment in the future of our students and our faculty,” said James Jarc, EdD, associate dean for online campus and teaching and learning. “We are thrilled to be able to provide this cutting-edge facility, and we look forward to seeing the many ways in which it will enhance student success and faculty excellence.”
