Central Ohio Technical College (COTC) is holding a town hall meeting at each of its extended campuses: Pataskala campus on Feb. 8, Knox campus on Feb. 22 and Coshocton campus on March 8 from 3–4:30 p.m. The public is invited to attend.
COTC Student Awarded Intel Scholarship and Tour of Arizona Facility
Alexis McPeck received the Intel Scholarship for Women in Technology, awarded to only 25 women in Ohio who enroll in an associate degree or one-year certificate program in semiconductor manufacturing.
Food Vendors Wanted for Concert, Fireworks at Newark Campus
Central Ohio Technical College (COTC) and The Ohio State University at Newark, with support from the J. Gilbert Reese Family Foundation, celebrate Independence Day with a concert and fireworks on July 3 at the shared Newark campus. The institutions are seeking food vendors to serve spectators at the event, which is expected to draw more than 20,000 people.

Practical Nursing
One-Year Certificate
Licensed practical nurses and licensed vocational nurses (known as LPNs or LVNs, depending on the state in which they work) provide basic medical care. They work under the direction of registered nurses (RNs) and doctors. LPNs are responsible for administering basic nursing care and monitoring a patient’s health.
