Transferability

COTC’s Associate of Arts degree is designed to allow graduates to move seamlessly to bachelor’s degree programs at all state-supported colleges and universities in the state of Ohio, as well as at many private institutions. In fact, every course on the A.A. plan of study is fully transferable to any school that accepts the Ohio Transfer Module or Transfer Assurance Guides.

Faculty Resources

Faculty, advisor, and staff involvement in this program is critical to how successful tutoring is for students. Encouragement given to good students to consider tutoring, completing tutor competency forms, and taking time to talk with employed tutors about educational goals can increase the strength and worth of the tutoring experience for peer tutors and students alike. If we are short of tutors, faculty members are contacted for suggestions of possible tutors, or to make an announcement in classes encouraging good students to become tutors.
