Central Ohio Technical College (COTC) will continue offering most classes remotely during its spring semester due to the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. To support student success, the two-year college will offer more flexibility for students to choose which type of remote class best suits their learning style and life situation.

Central Ohio Technical College (COTC) is taking bold and supportive measures to ensure that its students’ educations are not adversely affected during the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. In honoring its commitment to providing access to high-quality technical education, COTC will offer its traditional 12-week summer semester beginning on May 11 as originally scheduled. Due to COVID-19, all courses and student services will continue to be delivered in a remote format indefinitely.

Members of the community are invited to participate in One Book, One Community, a free community book club hosted by The Ohio State University at Newark and Central Ohio Technical College (COTC) in partnership with the public library systems of Licking County. This year’s book selection is Playing Indian by Philip J. Deloria. A virtual discussion with the author will be held on Monday, October 11, at 3 p.m.

Run to support two local causes at the third annual Blue Line Twilight Run 5K and 10K, which will be held on Saturday, May 14, 7 p.m., at the Central Ohio Technical College (COTC) Newark campus. Online registration is available at go.cotc.edu/bluelinerun through Wednesday, May 11.
