Celebration of Colors
McConnell Hall
Celebrate the rich heritage of Black History Month at this social
hour where students are encouraged to dress in the colors of
Black history. Learn the powerful meanings behind each hue: black
for the people of African descent, red for the sacrifices made in
the struggle for liberation, yellow for optimism, justice, and
equality, and green for the natural wealth and greenery of
Africa. Join us to honor these symbols of resilience, hope, and
unity.
