The 1971 Legacy Society

Overview

Leave a Lasting Legacy

Including Central Ohio Technical College in your estate plan is a simple, yet powerful way to invest in the college’s future. When you make a planned gift— no matter the size—you help strengthen the COTC experience for future generations of students.

You can enhance campus priorities that have personal meaning to you, such as student scholarships, academic program support, or capital initiatives. You may also choose to make an unrestricted gift that enables COTC to best address future needs. Whatever your commitment, you’ll join a special tradition of giving and be welcomed into the 1971 Legacy Society.

The 1971 Legacy Society recognizes alumni, faculty, staff, retirees and other friends who have named COTC as the beneficiary of a planned gift. The name of the society highlights the year COTC received its charter to meet the technical education and training needs of students and employers in the area. This mission continues to be the driving force behind every decision made at the college, and your generosity as a planned gift donor will further enable COTC to meet this important mission.

For recipients and donors alike, planned giving bestows significant benefits. As part of your overall financial or estate planning, your planned gift allows your generosity to have the maximum impact, while also providing important aspects for you, the donor.

We are pleased to recognize planned gift donors with lifelong membership in The 1971 Legacy Society at Central Ohio Technical College. Aptly named, this distinguished honor celebrates the legacy of giving that you have created.
