Emergency Grants


Life happens and COTC is committed to helping students stay in school. Students who are facing a temporary financial struggle may be eligible for financial assistance.

This emergency grant program provides financial assistance to students with unexpected and unplanned temporary emergencies. The emergency grant is a limited fund for currently enrolled students. The maximum grant amount is typically $500 and is awarded to an eligible student who is enrolled in at least six credit hours and has an unmet financial need at the time of application. In addition to completing the one-page grant application, the applicant will be required to explain why they cannot provide their own funds and submit third-party documentation supporting the need for the grant.
