COTC is growing.

Expanding opportunities for students.

Alford Center

On the Newark campus, the 60,000-square-foot John and Mary Alford Center for Science and Technology (pictured) opened for classes in autumn 2021, bringing a health science simulation center to the campus. This multi-disciplinary space, mirroring an acute care hospital, contains two patient rooms, an emergency room and an operating room with an adjoining scrub-in station so COTC students can experience various “real life” medical scenarios in a learning environment.

The Pataskala campus reopened for classes in autumn 2021 after a $4.2 million renovation including new high-tech laboratory, classroom and academic support spaces. The addition of nursing and allied health, science, and computer labs enables COTC to expand academic offerings in healthcare and information technology, and now offers several transfer degrees and career-ready associate degrees and certificates in full at the Pataskala campus, with more programs on the way. Individual general education courses for COTC’s 50+ programs or transfer-friendly credit to other state universities are also available.
