Central Ohio Technical College (COTC) is holding visit days this spring for anyone interested in exploring higher education in engineering, healthcare or public safety. Learn how a college degree or certificate can lead you to a rewarding career and increase your earning potential in these high-demand career fields in as little as one semester or up to two years at COTC.

The following events will be held at COTC’s Newark campus. Group sizes are limited, and advanced registration is required. Visitors are expected to follow the college’s health and safety procedures.

Healthcare Visit Days

  • Friday, March 25, from 1:30–3 p.m.
  • Friday, April 22, from 1:30–3 p.m.

COTC offers an array of associate degrees and certificates for starting or advancing a career in healthcare. Learn about all your options to decide which pathway is right for you. Meet with faculty and tour COTC’s healthcare labs, including a state-of-the art simulation center in the new John and Mary Alford Center for Science and Technology.

Public Safety Visit Day

  • Friday, April 8, from 1:30–3 p.m.

Learn about the associate degree and certificate programs for public safety careers in criminal justice, fire science and law enforcement. Our skilled faculty have a variety of career experiences and vast on-the-job knowledge in their specialties, and COTC partners with many local organizations to provide top-notch training facilities.
