You don’t have to complete your college admission and financial aid application alone. Central Ohio Technical College (COTC) is hosting an application event to help students submit the free COTC application for admission and the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on Wednesday, Nov. 9 from 4–7 p.m. at the Coshocton campus. Students and their family members are welcome to drop in at any time during the three-hour event.

COTC admissions representatives and student financial services representatives will be available to assist students as they complete their admission application and FAFSA in our Coshocton campus computer lab. In addition, a financial aid information session will be offered at 4 p.m., 5 p.m. and 6 p.m.

Registration is encouraged. Please register at go.cotc.edu/appnight. For additional information, contact the COTC admissions office at 740.622.1408 or cotcadmissions@mail.cotc.edu.

COTC is located at 200 N. Whitewoman St. in Coshocton.

Free College Program Available for Coshocton County Residents

Coshocton County residents may attend COTC for free. The COTC Promise guarantees to fund the gap between tuition (instructional and general fees) and remaining student need after all other private scholarships and institutional, federal and state aid are exhausted. Under the program, all tuition will be covered for students annually reporting a household income of $60,000 or less on the FAFSA.

The COTC Promise program is open to new, current or returning COTC students who do not already hold a bachelor’s or associate degree and can be used for classes at any COTC campus. Eligible students must be current Coshocton County residents who have lived in the county for at least one year. See cotc.edu/promise for more details.
