Students who earn the Industrial Electrician Certificate will work closely with Electrical Engineers to design and develop industrial equipment. The Industrial Electrician Certificate offers students an introduction to the field of Electrical Engineering, an opportunity to learn CAD, and to enter the workforce as Engineering Technicians. Students who complete the Industrial Electrician Certificate can continue on to pursue an Associate of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering Technology degree.

Students who complete the Associate of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering Technology can pursue a career in a wide variety of industries. Many things rely on electrical engineering: computers, telephones, radio, television, radar and sonar, just to name some examples.
