Associate of Science
The Associate of Science (AS) offers students the opportunity to complete the first two years of a bachelor’s degree at relatively low cost and to transfer seamlessly to any public college or university in the state of Ohio. Students pursuing the AS may take courses that fit a variety of four-year major pathways. The state has created Ohio Guaranteed Transfer Pathways where students can choose areas of concentration within the AS.
Electrocardiography for the Cardiac Sonographer
Short-Term Certificate
This short-term certificate program allows sonographers and sonography students to quickly upskill or advance their careers as electrocardiography (EKG) technicians. Students learn how to interpret and perform electrocardiograms (EKGs/ECGs) and, upon completion, are eligible to take the Certified EKG Technician (CET) certification exam.
Radiologic Science Technology
Associate of Applied Science
Radiologic technologists perform diagnostic imaging procedures such as x-ray, MRI and CT. The radiologic science technology associate degree program at COTC combines extensive classroom, laboratory and clinical learning situations to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely practice radiology.
Pataskala Campus
Located on the western edge of Licking County, the Pataskala campus brings many of COTC’s associate degree and certificates closer to Columbus and surrounding areas. Following an extensive renovation, the Pataskala campus now provides the opportunity to complete several associate degrees and certificates in addition to starting any of COTC’s career-ready programs and transfer degrees.

Peace Officer Basic Training
Short-Term Certificate
COTC’s peace officer basic training academy exceeds the requirements of the Ohio Peace Officer Training Commission and positions students to excel on the state certification exam to become a peace officer in Ohio. Graduates also earn credits toward an associate degree in law enforcement technology.
