Central Ohio Technical College (COTC) has expanded career-ready programs in healthcare, IT and digital media that can be completed in full at its Pataskala campus, located at 8660 E. Broad Street. The campus underwent a $4.2 million renovation last year, bringing a new nursing and allied health skills lab, science and computer labs, classroom and academic support spaces, and student collaboration spaces to the completely renovated facility.

COTC Announces Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Training Program
In response to the national and regional shortages of commercial truck drivers, COTC is partnering with Ancora Corporate Training, an established national provider of CDL training, to offer this highly sought-after non-credit training locally. COTC’s Ancora Class A Tractor-Trailer program provides the optimal balance between classroom learning and on-the-road training to prepare students for the CDL exam.
COTC & C-TEC strengthen workforce development in Licking County
Central Ohio Technical College (COTC) and the Career and Technology Education Centers of Licking County (C-TEC) offer a certificate program in fire safety and EMT that is federal grant-eligible, to help those in need pay for tuition and other costs.
New Program to Dress Students For Success
Central Ohio Technical College (COTC) and The Ohio State University at Newark have collaborated with Licking/Knox Goodwill Industries on a creative program that provides professional clothing to job-seeking students. As a part of the partnership, Goodwill supplies vouchers that COTC and Ohio State Newark students can use to purchase attire for job interviews, career fairs, academic conferences and internships.
Management
One-Year Certificate
If you have interest in business management, the management certificate at COTC is a great place to begin. The management certificate includes coursework focusing on a variety of areas including business law and financial practices in business. Students will also gain experience and learn technologies commonly used in business.
License/Credentialing
The Management Certificate aligns with the Institute of Certified Professional Managers (ICPM) – Certified Manager Certificate.
