- The Civil Engineering Technology program’s enrollment for Autumn 2015 was 29 students. For all of 2015-2016 enrollment was 40 students.
Graduation Data
- The Civil Engineering Technology program had 2 graduates in the academic year 2015-2016.
Employment Data
- Civil Engineering Technology had two graduates for the ’15-’16 academic year. One graduate responded to the Graduate Survey. The respondent reported full-time employment with an annual salary of $33,000 to $36,999.

Statement of Purpose
Mission Statement
The mission of the radiographic technology program at Central Ohio Technical College is to prepare qualified imaging technologists who practice ethically, respond to patient needs with competence and compassion, and help fulfill the community’s healthcare needs.
Program Goals/Student Outcomes
To accomplish this mission, the radiologic science technology program embraces the following goals:
Admissions
Regular admission to a degree or certificate program is open to all who have earned a high school diploma, completed homeschooling at the secondary level or passed the General Education Development (GED) test. COTC may also grant prior-learning credit for certain life and career experiences. New students must submit the free application for admission.

The “job” of being a good college student
requires many skills. Besides the necessity for good
reading, writing and calculating abilities, the successful
student needs to learn how to take good notes (lecture and
texts), manage his/her time, appropriately “read” a textbook,
prepare for and take college-level exams, and much more.

Program Outcomes
Upon completion of the phlebotomy program, the graduate will be able to:
- Demonstrate knowledge of human body structure, function and pathology.
- Perform venipuncture andmicro-skinn puncture procedures safely.
- Maintain and evaluate patient sample integrity.
- Demonstrate a professional attitude in appearance, work ethic and laboratory safety.
- Demonstrate knowledge and skills related to quality assurance procedures.
Parking and Permits
COTC campuses offer all students free parking. Student and visitor parking is available in any white-lined space on all COTC campuses.
