Admissions
Regular admission to a degree or certificate program is open to all who have earned a high school diploma, completed homeschooling at the secondary level or passed the General Education Development (GED) test. COTC may also grant prior-learning credit for certain life and career experiences. New students must submit the free application for admission.

Sonography Information Meeting/Course
Interested students may either attend a diagnostic medical sonography technology information meeting on campus or complete the online sonography information course to learn about the sonography program at COTC and satisfy this requirement on the sonography program application.

Access the sonography information course
An online sonography information course is available to anyone interested in the diagnostic medical sonography technology program at COTC. This course will provide information and hopefully answer many of your questions on the ultrasound profession, program requirements and application process. The information course will take less than one hour to complete and can be accessed multiple times.
Once you been enrolled at COTC and have begun the application process for the sonography program, complete this information course again in its entirety. Completing this information course is a required component of the sonography application process. Upon completion of the information course, your information will be submitted to the Gateway Enrollment Center to document your completion.

Kona Ice Truck
To celebrate the first day of classes, Kona Ice will be on campus to offer fun, frozen treats for students, faculty & staff. Participants will need to present their school ID before approaching the ordering window and then they will be presented a snow cone with the flavor of their choice. Limit one per person.

COTC offers small group, on-campus healthcare visit days for students interested in learning more about working in healthcare.
Students who are interested in working in healthcare, but are unsure what program they want to purse, can learn about all COTC healthcare programs, tour labs and engage with current faculty during a Healthcare Visit Day.
