New CCP Student

Complete the free COTC application (you may need to create an account first).

Private school students must apply for funding through the state of Ohio to participate in CCP. Students must email a copy of their funding letter from the state to COTC at ccp@mail.cotc.edu

Request an official high school transcript with an unweighted GPA be sent to COTC one of the following ways:

  • Emailed directly from high school personnel to cotcrecords@mail.cotc.edu
  • Mailed to COTC, The Gateway – Student Records, 1179 University Drive, Newark, OH 43055. 

Policy changes have been made by the State of Ohio due to COVID-19. New students for the 20-21/21-22 school year are eligible to participate in CCP if they have a high school (unweighted) GPA of 3.0 or higher. 

COTC is providing placement testing for students on a limited basis for eligibility and admission consideration to CCP. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we prefer to test students remotely; however, some on-campus testing is available if needed. Connect with an Admissions Representative to determine whether you need placement testing: ccp@mail.cotc.edu

Continuing CCP Student

Private school students must apply for funding through the state of Ohio each year to participate in CCP. Students must email a copy of their funding letter from the state to COTC at ccp@mail.cotc.edu. 

Students who want to continue participating in CCP need to request an updated official high school transcript with an unweighted GPA be sent to COTC one of the following ways:

  • Emailed directly from high school personnel to cotcrecords@mail.cotc.edu
  • Mailed to COTC, The Gateway – Student Records, 1179 University Drive, Newark, OH 43055.
