Sally Wallace Heckman headshot.Central Ohio Technical College (COTC) welcomes new Board of Trustees member Sally Wallace Heckman. Heckman began her term on Oct. 1 replacing outgoing board member Paul Thompson.

Heckman is the president and CEO of First Federal Savings in Newark. She serves on First Federal’s Board of Directors and is also a trustee of the First Federal Foundation. Within the community, Heckman is active as a trustee of the Thomas J. Evans Foundation and of the Gilbert Reese Family Foundation, the chair of the Community Relations Committee of the Licking Memorial Health Systems Development Council, the vice chair of the advisory board for the Boys & Girls Club of Newark, and a member of the FRAMEWORK leadership committee.

Heckman earned a bachelor’s degree from DePauw University, where she received the Holton Scholarship and the Ralph F. Carl Senior Award for excellence in her major, and then completed a Master of Business Administration from The Ohio State University, Fisher College of Business, where she received the Pace Setter Award for excellence in academics and leadership.

COTC is a fully accredited, public college dedicated to providing high-quality, accessible programs of technical education in response to current and emerging employment needs. COTC has four campus locations: Newark, Coshocton, Knox and Pataskala.
