Marketing Office Wins National Awards

The Office of Marketing and Public Relations at Central Ohio Technical College (COTC) and The Ohio State University at Newark won four awards in the 37th annual Educational Advertising Awards. The national competition recognizes the field of educational marketing and advertising.

COTC received gold awards for its 2021 Impact Report and 2022 Viewbook. Ohio State Newark received a gold award for its 2021 Progress Report and a merit award for an interactive Steps to Enroll flyer.

Senior Graphic Designer Leslie Lenzo designed all four projects. Director of Marketing and Public Relations Suzanne Bressoud is the editor of the Impact Report and Progress Report. Assistant Director Rene White wrote and edited the Viewbook and Interactive Steps to Enroll.

The Educational Advertising Awards is the largest educational advertising awards competition in the United States. This year, more than 2,000 entries were received from more than 1,000 schools from all 50 states and several foreign countries. Judges for the Educational Advertising Awards consisted of a national panel of higher education marketers, and advertising creative directors, marketing and advertising professionals.

COTC is a fully accredited, public college dedicated to providing high-quality, accessible programs of technical education in response to current and emerging employment needs. COTC has four campus locations: Newark, Coshocton, Knox and Pataskala.
