Earn a degree or certificate in many of Ohio’s fastest-growing fields as you train for a meaningful career you’ll love, upskill and advance, or even start a bachelor’s degree. At Central Ohio Technical College (COTC), your goals are our goals; our small class sizes and expert faculty make learning personal.

Ariel Hall, COTC’s Knox campus, is located at 236 South Main Street in downtown Mount Vernon. The state-of-the-art learning center offers 15 face-to-face and distance-learning classrooms and nursing, engineering technology, computer and other laboratory spaces.

High school students and adult learners can register for an upcoming visit day to tour the campus, see equipment and labs, engage with faculty and staff, and learn about the certificates and degrees now offered in full at COTC’s Knox campus. Light snacks and drinks will be provided.

Free College for Eligible Knox County Residents

AT COTC, there’s no need to delay your goals. For eligible students, COTC’s Knox Promise guarantees to fund the gap between tuition (instructional and general fees) and remaining student need after all other private scholarships and institutional, federal and state aid are exhausted. Under the program, all tuition will be covered for eligible students annually reporting a household income of $60,000 or less on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The Knox Promise is open to new, current or returning COTC students who do not already hold a bachelor’s or associate degree and are current Knox County residents who have lived in the county for at least one year. The Knox Promise will be available in COTC’s upcoming autumn semester, which begins on Aug. 24. For full details about Knox Promise eligibility, visit go.cotc.edu/knoxpromise.
