DMS Program Info Meeting

COTC healthcare programs are selective, competitive-entry programs. Students interested in pursuing a healthcare program at COTC are required to attend an information meeting to learn about the program, including application requirements.

Learn more about our DMS program.

Certificate

Emergency Medical Technician Certificate

COTC offers initial EMT courses in conjunction with our affiliated partners at CTEC of Licking County, Knox County Career Center, and the Ohio Fire Academy. EMS 120 is a 7-credit hour/one-semester course. Students completing the course will be eligible to apply to take The National Registry of Emergency Medical Technician exam.

Degree

Associate of Arts

A student on a laptop sits at the end of a row of students seated at a desk.

If you are considering a career in the arts, we recommend pursuing an Associate of Arts degree to complete the first two years of a bachelor’s degree. The Associate of Arts degree requires completion of more arts and humanities courses, such as English and Philosophy (and fewer math and science courses).
