Course Share Information

The Associate of Arts in Philosophy plan of study requires you complete a course at another institution (course share) in order to complete the program. The Higher Education Council of Columbus (HECC) has set up a system of cross-registration for regularly enrolled, full-time undergraduate students at participating colleges and universities in and around Franklin County. Cross-registration allows you to register at one of the other HECC member institutions on a space-available basis for certain credit courses not available at COTC.

Transfer Options

COTC’s Associate of Arts is designed to allow graduates to move seamlessly to bachelor’s degree programs at all state-supported colleges and universities in the state of Ohio, as well as at many private institutions. In fact, every course on the AA plan of study is fully transferable to any school that accepts the Ohio Transfer Module or Transfer Assurance Guides.

In addition to public universities, students can consider the following private four-year universities with which COTC has a transfer agreement:

Frequently Asked Questions

At COTC, you have the flexibility to take classes face-to-face and online.

COTC awards more than $1 million in scholarships to students each year.
