Submit Official Transcripts

Request High School Transcripts

Students should contact their high school to request their official transcripts be sent to COTC.

Transcripts can be submitted as follows:

  • Mailed to COTC, The Gateway – Student Records, 1179 University Drive, Newark, OH 43055. 
  • Emailed directly from high school personnel to cotcrecords@mail.cotc.edu.

High school transcripts can be used to allow students to place out of certain coursework or into higher-level coursework.

Request GED and Adult Diploma Transcripts

Students who obtained a GED should request their GED transcript directly from the GED Transcript Request Service

Students who earned an Adult Diploma should reach out to the institution where they completed their Adult Diploma to determine how to obtain their transcript. 

Transcripts can be submitted as follows:

  • Emailed directly from GED or the institution where the student obtained their Adult Diploma to cotcrecords@mail.cotc.edu.

Adult Diploma transcripts can be used to allow students to place out of certain coursework or into higher-level coursework.

Request College/University Transcripts From a School Other Than COTC 

Your college/university transcript can be used to place you out of certain coursework or into higher coursework. Transcripts can be submitted as follows:

  • Mailed to COTC, The Gateway – Student Records, 1179 University Drive, Newark, OH 43055. 
  • Emailed directly from college/university to cotcrecords@mail.cotc.edu.
