Submit official transcripts from all schools you've attended

Request High School Transcripts

You should contact your high school to request your official transcripts be sent to COTC.

Transcripts can be submitted as follows:

  • Mailed to COTC, The Gateway – Student Records, 1179 University Drive, Newark, OH 43055. 
  • Emailed directly from high school personnel to cotcrecords@mail.cotc.edu.

High school transcripts can be used to allow you to place out of certain coursework or into higher-level coursework.

Request GED and Adult Diploma Transcripts

GED: You should request your GED transcript directly from the GED Transcript Request Service. 

Adult Diploma: You should reach out to the institution where you completed your Adult Diploma to determine how to obtain your transcript. 

Transcripts can be submitted as follows:

  • Mailed to COTC, The Gateway – Student Records, 1179 University Drive, Newark, OH 43055. 
  • Emailed directly from GED or the institution where the student obtained their Adult Diploma to cotcrecords@mail.cotc.edu.

Adult Diploma transcripts can be used to allow you to place out of certain coursework or into higher-level coursework.

Request College/University Transcripts From a School Other Than COTC 

Your college/university transcript can be used to place you out of certain coursework or into higher coursework. Transcripts can be submitted as follows:

  • Mailed to COTC, The Gateway – Student Records, 1179 University Drive, Newark, OH 43055. 
  • Emailed directly from college/university to cotcrecords@mail.cotc.edu.
