​Password Change and Reset

​​You would use the CHANGE process if you know your current password and want to set a new one.

You would use the RESET process if your password is forgotten or expired by entering responses to questions you established during the Enrollment process.

You need to ENROLL by choosing and answering security questions in order to be able to RESET your password at a later time.


COTC Username / Password

What is my Us​ername? (You m​ust use Internet Explorer to retrieve your username.)

Please click on one of the links below to reset your COTC password. The password must be at least 8 characters and contain at least 3 of the following categories:

Capital letters (A-Z)

Lowercase letters (a-z)

Numerals (0-9)

Special characters (!@#$%^&)

 

Student

Click Here to enroll into Password Reset (Previously Change Your Password), to Change your password, or to Reset your password for your username that contains your lastname-#. (ex: smith-12345@cotc.edu)

 

Faculty & Staff

Your username that contains your first initial and last name:

Click here to enroll into Password Reset​​, to Change your password, or to Reset your password for your username that contains your first initial and lastname. (ex: asmith@cotc.edu)

 

Your lastname.# username:

Faculty & Staff with a name.# can Change or Reset their password or choose new security questions and answers at my.osu.edu. To Reset your password click the "Forgot password?" link at the top right of the page.  To Change your password log in with your current password and click Change My Password in the left navigation. To choose new security questions and answers log in and click Security Challenge Responses in the left navigation.
