Office of Government Relations and Grants

The Office of Government Relations and Grants provides a critical link between Central Ohio Technical College and local, state and federal agencies.  The office, on behalf of the college, is the primary contact with all elected officials and aggressively works to cultivate relationships and key partnerships.  Office Staff monitors state and federal legislation that would have a major impact on higher education.  In conjunction with the Vice President for Extended Campuses and New Business Development, the office seeks out new workforce training opportunities and engages in economic development discussions.

In support of COTC's mission and strategic plan, the office actively pursues funding opportunities for programmatic initiatives.  Also serving as the clearinghouse for grant activity, the office actively researches grant opportunities partnering with college staff to identify, write and monitor all grants.
