Edna Branstool

Mrs. Edna Branstool was appointed by the Governor to the board of Central Ohio Technical College in January, 2008. 

Following graduation from Utica High School, Mrs. Branstool is proud to say she has received her Associate Degree in Nursing from Central Ohio Technical College.  Having spent much of her career at Knox Community Hospital working as a registered nurse in the Emergency department, where her qualifications included TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support).  She currently works as a PICC RN at Mt. Carmel/St. Ann’s Hospital in Westerville where she inserts peripheral central lines.  During her years at COTC, she was a student scholar and a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.  Mrs. Branstool was also honored as the Magdalene Reiser Award Winner by her nursing instructors.

Mrs. Branstool and her husband Marshall have been the owners/operators of the Branstool Orchards for over 20 years.  Mrs. Branstool has lived in Licking County her entire life and resides in Utica with her husband.  The couple has two sons.  Tyler is a graduate of Denison University and is in the United States Coast Guard and Alex is a senior at Ohio Wesleyan University.
