THE STUDENT EMPLOYMENT

HIRING PROCESS

  • STEP ONE: Go to the Office of Financial Aid located in the Hopewell Hall Mall to browse through the Student Employment Job Notebook and view available job opportunities on campus. Be sure to thoroughly read each job description before applying for the job to be certain that you qualify for the position. Complete and submit a Student Employment Application to the Office of Financial Aid.

TIP:
It never hurts to check in with individual supervisors to show interest in their posted position(s). It gives the supervisor an opportunity to meet the applicant, and put a face with a name!
 

  • STEP TWO: Your completed application will be forwarded to all of the supervisors whose job numbers listed on your application.

IMPORTANT:
The department supervisors will review applications, set up interviews and hire student employees for their departments. 
 

  • STEP THREE: When hired, students must return to the Office of Financial Aid to complete a Placement Record & Payroll Authorization Request and tax packet. A paycheck cannot be processed without all required paperwork.

PLEASE NOTE:
All tax paperwork must be turned in at the Office of Human Resources, located in Founder’s Hall.
