Visualize Your Career in Radiologic Science Technology at COTC

The Radiologic Science Technology Program at Central Ohio Technical College combines extensive classroom, laboratory and clinical learning situations to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely practice radiology. It is a two year, 6 semester program, beginning in the summer session. During the last semester, the student focuses on an additional area of radiology, selecting from CT (computed tomography), MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) or interventional/surgical radiology. Due to the limitations in the clinical facilities, admission is selective and limited.

At COTC, Students in the Radiologic Science Technology program can expect:

 Nearly 100% pass rate on national credentialing examination;

Hands on training and specialized skill development;

Two fully energized campus radiology laboratories and digital imaging equipment;

 Graduates have high success in job placement and employment;

Graduates consistently demonstrate ability to advance within the field;

Technical electives in CT, MRI or Vascular intervention/surgical radiology;

Multiple clinical rotations provide diverse experience with patients and resources.


Graduates earn an Associate of Applied Science in Radiologic Science Technology degree. This program adheres to national educational standards demonstrating commitment to academic excellence, health care quality and patient and professional safety.
