Fire Science

The Fire Science Technology Program is designed to provide skills and experiences essential both for those who are seasoned professionals seeking career advancement and for those who are new to the Public Safety arena. Fire Science courses are offered primarily at Newark, Pataskala, and online. While students may enroll in general education courses on the Fire Science plan of study, they must have earned their Ohio Firefighting 1 & 2, or equivalent, prior to taking technical courses.
