Student’s pursuing the A. S. may take courses that fit a variety of four-year major pathways that are available at a selection of convenient times on Central Ohio Technical College’s campuses, as well as online. The A. S. curriculum includes a menu of courses in:

 Sciences and mathematics

 Arts and Humanities

Upon completion, graduates receive an Associates of Science Degree and can explore a variety of career options. In addition, every course on the A.S. plan of study is fully transferable to any school that accepts the Ohio Transfer Module or Transfer Assurance Guides.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, occupations in which workers are required to have an associate’s degree are growing faster than occupations that require other types of training. In addition the U.S. Department of Education studies indicate that associate degree graduates are more likely to complete their bachelor’s degrees successfully, because of their successful ability to start their career and education.
