How to Send Transcripts
Electronic delivery
Official transcripts can be sent electronically from the institution (or their approved third-party vendor).
Official transcripts can be mailed directly from the issuing institution by their staff in a sealed envelope to:

In-person dropoff
Official transcripts can be dropped off by the student in a sealed envelope with a signature or stamp from the issuing institution over the seal of the envelope at:

What Transcripts to Send
High School Transcripts
Students should request an official transcript from the high school where they graduated by calling or emailing the high school and, in many cases, talking with a guidance counselor. Official transcripts can be mailed or dropped off in person. Mailed transcripts must be sent directly from the high school by their staff and must be sent in a sealed envelope. Transcripts dropped off must be done so by the student in a sealed envelope with a signature or stamp from the high school over the seal of the envelope.
Ohio GED Transcripts
Students can visit the official Ohio GED website to request an official GED transcript. Official transcripts can be mailed or dropped off in person. Mailed Transcripts must be sent directly from Ohio GED and must be sent in a sealed envelope. Transcripts dropped off must be done so by the student in a sealed envelope with a signature or stamp from Ohio GED over the seal of the envelope.
College/University Transcripts
Students should request an official transcript from all colleges and universities they have attended. Official transcripts must be sent by the college or university. Often colleges use an electronic service provider and an official college transcript can be requested online by searching the college’s website. Official transcripts can be or mailed or dropped of in person. Mailed transcripts must be sent directly from the college or university and must be sent in a sealed envelope. Transcripts dropped off must be done so by the student in a sealed envelope with a signature or stamp from the college or university over the seal of the envelope.
Transcripts From Schools That Have Closed
Visit the Ohio State Board of Career Colleges and Schools to request transcripts from schools that have permanently closed.
